Solutions & Products
Some of the industrial sectors to which PipeCP have successfully provided services and products include:
Smart Rectifiers
The impressed current cathodic protection operating concept works by delivering controlled amounts of direct current to surfaces immersed in water with the help of ultra-reliable zinc electrodes and combined metal oxide anodes. The continuously regulated and monitored electrical current helps prevent the electrochemical mechanism from galvanic corrosion before its attack.
PipeCP designs, manufactures, and installs Impressed Current Cathodic Protection systems.

Our monitoring and control platform provides an easy means of monitoring and controlling system performance. Once properly installed and commissioned, Impressed Current Cathodic Protection systems Rectifier provides an easily verifiable monitoring point. Power supply output voltage and current readings can be verified to ensure consistency with previous readings.

PipeCP PLC-based rectifier key benefits:

-
Fully digital rectifier for Outdoor installations in extreme conditions
-
V Out range from 0 to 60V
-
I Out range from 0 to 340A.
-
4 working regimes: Constant Current, Constant Voltage, Constant ON Potential, or Constant INST_OFF Potential (local or remote)
-
24/7 remote monitoring and control of all rectifier parameters (working regime, V Out, I Out, ON & OFF Potential)

External Interrupters
The ACA-DCD embeds a GPS-based interrupter to momentarily disconnect it from the pipe (during OFF window only) allowing instant OFF measurements while keeping staff and equipment safety in case of lighting strike and/or AC Faults.

Our cellular controller allows remote interrupter parameters configuration and provides daily/hourly/other AC and Potential measurements.

The Solution is future-proof due to adjustable and upgradable configuration that can be done remotely, after the unit is deployed and operated.

PipeCP Remotely controlled Interrupter for 3rd parties Rectifies key benefits:

-
Fits any rectifier in the market (analog or digital)
-
Interruption of up to 160A rectifier at any given duty cycle for CIPS/DCVG or IFO
-
Remotely controlled GPS-Synched Interrupter (T_Start, T_Stop, ON_Window, OFF_Window, Start_State)Optional 24/7 remote monitoring of V Out, I Out, ON & OFF Potential
RMUs for 3rd parties
The challenge:

Specialized personnel increasingly need additional data from remote sites where they are acquiring Cathodic Protection data. This includes the corrosion potentials of oil and gas pipelines; Corrosion inhibitor levels in holding tanks on injection skids at production sites and other facilities where CP values are being acquired. It is also critical to collect corrosion rates at casing crossings where the casing pipeline potential is tracked. It is critical also to continuously measure and control the measurement points and operate the rectifiers to be able to test remotely.

The solution:

The efficiency of cathodic protection monitoring is based on the flexibility, scrutiny and responsiveness that only cloud-based technology and near-real-time control can offer. Managing installed rectifiers on site and in the field today requires constant communication and faster response.
PipeCp offers the power of remote administration to control the cathodic protection system including 3 rd parties digital or analog equipment, parameter setting of rectifiers and measurement points and continuous monitoring of values in the field. A complete IoT solution under the Internet cloud.

To meet this need PipeCP has developed a remote CP monitoring platform that combines a rectifier monitoring and control device with distributed point measurement devices in the pipeline to be able to continuously measure and perform the necessary tests in a GPS synchronized way. . "Wherever CP monitoring is done, this technology adds the ability to monitor sensors and transducers in the same location." The combination of CP and operational data in a single device provides additional site data that presents a more complete picture of the corrosion environment being controlled.

All Mitigation Solutions
The challenge:

Economic reasons as well as crowding of various constructions usually force pipelines to follow routes in close proximity to high-tension power lines. Thus, the pipelines are exposed to AC-interference, which results in perturbation of cathodic protection and AC-corrosion risk. One of the most serious consequences of steady state induced AC is that corrosion can occur even if cathodic protection levels satisfy the standards and despite the induced AC has been reduced to less than 15V as required by other standards
The Solution:
The ACA-DCD embeds a GPS-based interrupter to momentarily disconnect it from the pipe (during OFF window only) allowing instant OFF measurements while keeping staff and equipment safety in case of lighting strike and/or AC Faults.
Our cellular controller (CP Unit name?) allows remote interrupter parameters configuration and provides daily/hourly/other AC and Potential measurements.
The Solution is future-proof due to adjustable and upgradable configuration that can be done remotely, after the unit is deployed and operated.
